Well I was sitting at the pc yesterday while putting up my previous image and realised I had something to shoot right beside me which I have never attempted before, my finches.
I have 3 of these guys but only one was interested in posing for me, so let me introduce you to Mal one of my 3 Bengalese finches. He is about 6 years old now and has not aged a bit, but is as noisy as ever.

what a beautiful bird… Can’t believe you didn’t think of training the finches to be models before. No wonder the Robin flew off.
Those poor birds! What an awful life being trapped in that cage for 6 years. You should let it fly free!!! Free as a bird in fact!
Great shot here! When I was growing up we used to raise those grey zebra finches. We had a whole cage of them, and they were constantly dying off like cheap golfish. Congrats on keeping this guy alive for so long! I know what you mean about the noise…
