Just timed this right to get the Sun coming through the glass bits of this place, Currently occupied by Lloyds TSB it was vacant for ages so what did the developers do, yes add lots of Pink to it!! Eyecatching it was too!
2 exposures for this dragged on top of each other, do a perspective and keystone on it, add a mask and paint till the desired effect appears/ this was adding the detail into the Tower that was blown by the sun, flatten, added an overlay layer filled with neutral grey and painted in white over some of the road to lighten it, bit of blur into this and an opacity fiddle, flatten duplicate and smart sharpen, add a mask and paint out the sharpen in the sky. Reason I did the last bit is because my blue/cyan info from my fuji seems to carry a lot of artifacts and sharpening makes the sky blocky, especially in this resolution. The curse of the jpeg, when I,m a big boy I will shoot Raw.
Now for a treat, I think I was 8 when i first saw this, just check out the music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLNa_YUPXes&mode=related&search=
