I was quite surprised when I saw this picture; especially because of the contrasts. It was taken in a garden somewhere in Cuba. There wasn’t much light in the garden because it was full of flowers and trees. The bits where the sun came through were really beautiful. I will definitively post some other flower shots later on but this is one of my favourites.
Ich war doch recht überrascht, als ich das Bild gesehen habe. Vor allem der Kontrast und das Licht haben mir gefallen. Entstanden ist das Bild in einem kubanischen Garten, indem durch all die Bäume und Pflanzen wenig Licht war. An einigen Stellen kam jedoch etwas Sonne hindurch und gerade dort war es besonders schön. Sicherlich werde ich demnächst noch ein paar weitere Blümchenbilder zeigen, aber dies ist eins meiner Favoriten.

Außgesprochen schönes Bild, der Hintergrung läßt die Blüte das Auge bezirzen. Die unschärfe im Mittelbereich ist auch gelungen :)
absolutely goregous. i love this kind of shot. the strong contrast of both light and dark but also the complexed flower and vacant background. do wish that we had a little more of the pink color though. looks like Cuba is not such a horrible place, as we are taught as Americans. thanks for showing the human side of it.
