Freaky deeky! I'm curious if this started out as kind-of an interpretation of da Vinci sketch?(which I apologize the name escapes me) I do like the abstract vision.

@amy: the idea came from a kaleidoscope and actually the title "a coiled spoke" is an anagram for kaleidoscope - the original photo was taken at night on a very long exposure, hence the movement - thanks for the comment :)
