Beautiful lighting and lines. Looks like a scene out of a fairy tale.

Good choice of putting this one in the surreal category, it really has a mystical feeling about it. I half expected to see a Leprechaun peeking out from behind one of the trees .
Happy St Paddy's day to you !

@Fred: Happy St. Paddy's to you also. I was in Winnipeg Manitoba for St. Paddy's. So I have some new blog material from there.
Exceptional image! I'm curious -- what specifically did you do to get it looking so dreamy?

Thanks everyone for all the great comments. The technique I used here is to take 2-3 slides of the same subject all on a tri-pod so you have the exact same scene. Then you take the first image 2 stops over exposed and with a lot of depth of field (eg. f-22 or f-32) then you take the second shot with shallow depth of field (eg. f-2.8 or what ever the shallowest depth of feild your lens is capable of doing ) and then you take that image with it being out of focus turning your focusing ring so it blurs bigger than your subject, and 1 stop over exposed. Then you get them proccessed and take those two images and place tham on top of each other in one slide mount. You have to do this yourself, they won't do it at the lab for you.

Sorry for the spelling mistakes on the top post. I thought I was hitting the spell check!!! LOL.. I am not a techie!! If you have any questions e-mail me and also check out Andre Gallants web site. He is a master at this technique and my hero. I love his work.
