Another photo from the Italy series, sorry for tomorrow but no time to post I'm afraid...
About the photo. This was a woman who was cleaning the graffiti off of a column in san marco square in venice. To remove the paint and not the stone she used steam and then a little exacto-like knife to carefully peel it off. It took ages and unfortunatelly the photos most dear to me came out blurry so this is the best digital.

as for the graffiti yeah it's quite a lack of respect from asshole who don't understand the history of that place... and people complain they aren't free...

An interesting subject and nicely composed. Like the lighting, and the symmetry with the figure on the opposite side of the column.

@Daroru: thanks daroru, i tried a few from a different angle but got them all blurry. damn viewscreen... yeah, i kept the figure on the other side to give you something to explore..
