Our family took a day trip recently to Sarnia for a little cycling and a visit to the beach. This is a picture of Lake Huron, at the point where it flows into the St. Clair River, between Sarnia (Canada) and Port Huron (U.S.). The bridge that crosses between these two cities is called the Bluewater Bridge, and it's easy to see why when you look at the colour of the lake the the river at this point.

Port Huron is NOT the mouth of the ST. Clair river. The mouth of the St. Clair river is where it flows in to Lake St. Clair. Port Huron is located at the head or source of the St Clair river.
