into the light
took this on the beach this morning. It is of one of the local boat safari companies launching...the way they launch is something else. Hook up the boat facing forwards, start the boat engines. The 4x4 driver puts his foot flat and accelerates from about 150ms from the water...as he gets to the water he slams on anchors ejecting the boat at about 30-40kmph...great fun! As you can see i got this as the car was slamming on anchors

Its whale season here so these boats run all day. I like this dramatic shot even though the entire RHS is blown out...kinda  like sailing into the sunset type of thing except its powering into the sunrise.
