Post processing: I began to shoot RAW a few days ago (I'll post those pictures up later on in the week) For this image I set the fill light to 25 when I opened the image up via photoshop and used the photoshop raw converter. Nothing else was done, just a bit smart-sharpening

Once you go RAW, you never go back. This is a very nice shot ... I like the composition. I'd recommend using layer masks on the sky to avoid sharpening the clouds (the grainy look) but a wonderful image, nonetheless.

to continue on what aaron wrote you, you can use software like neatimage to avoif the grainy look. because shoting at 1600 iso create a lot of "noise" in the picture.
great interesting capture.

Fantastic shot ! With the messed up backyard and me not being from the US, the first thing that came to my mind wasn't the 911 memorial, bit some kind of dramatic sci-fi scene ! (no offense meant to victims and/or mourners in these days of commemoration)

Perfect composition and framming. The light and tones bring just the right amount of softness. Superb! No wonder you are on the spotlight frontpage. Congrats! http://www.aminus3.com/

This is a splendid capture with the honey colored lighting on the construction complimenting the white tower of lights going up to the sky.

Wow...what an excellent shot - your lighting has defintely brought a range of emotion into the shot and your angle is spectacular. A really moving tribute to the victims of 9/11. No wonder you're on the main page!!!Congartulations!! :)
