Lovely! And very colorful! It's so romantic looking.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Jewlya. I like a splash of colour!
Great color combinations, Bill. Have a great weekend!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Kay, I will
Fuzzy-Wuzzy was a bear.... Oh! THAT color.
Bill Phillips: Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't Fuzzy Wuzzy!
lovely work Bill
Bill Phillips: Good! Then my work is done
Nicely splodged Bill: is this some sort of tribute?
Bill Phillips: No just a market stall.
The colors are vivid and lovely and so is the sentiment, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Kathryn.
Lovely colours Bill. You seem to have enjoyed yourself designing the border! Have a great weekend.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard. The border is 99% Corel!
Thank you Bill for this composition !!! Have a nice week-end too !!! I love the effect on it ...
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ann
A bit too splodgy for me Bill - I think a bit left sharp would have helped - maybe just the writing on the sign ;o)
Bill Phillips: Me signatures sharp Mike..what more do you want?
Thanks for the flowers Bill have a good weekend
Bill Phillips: My pleasure
lol - and a very splendid splodge it is. have a great week end. mal
Bill Phillips: If you are doing a splodge you just gotta go for it
Did you use a filter on this colourful splodge. The framing suit it nicely
Bill Phillips: No, this is basically the orton effect again. You duplicate the layer change the effect from normal to screen then merge the layers down. Duplicate the resulting layer and use gaussian blur on the duplicated layer. then change from normal to multiply and merge the final image. The amount of blur is something you do by trial and error depending on the result you want. For example my picture in the park in Droitwich a couple of days ago was only slightly blurred. This has been cranked up a lot more! I use this effect quite a lot..I just like the results.
You've gone all soft and romantic, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I've always been soft and romantic Chad
Wish I had a Florist shop at this time of year ... Mother's day, Easter and Valentines all so close together ... must be minting it. Think it makes it quite clear why there are so many celebrationary events throughout the year. BTW great image. richard
Bill Phillips: Business is blooming then for florists?! Cheers Richard
What a splash of lovely bright colour. Just what is needed on a grey day like today. (:o)
Bill Phillips: It has been a grey old day! Looks like being a fairly grotty weekend
Thank you so much, how did you know I like flowers so much, you have a great weekend too.
Bill Phillips: You are Dutch...of course you like flowers
Love it...eh What's a 'splodge' ?
Bill Phillips: splodge
noun an irregularly shaped spot [syn: blotch] Say hello to Ozzy!
Good image Bill, and one a lot of us pass by every day without noticing it. Your after treatment and border really give it a lot of "punch".
Bill Phillips: Thanks Brian. It was certainly colourful
The colors here are gorgeous. Very nice shot.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Helen.
Nicely done, a song for coming spring !!
Bill Phillips: The days are getting longer and all the trees are in bud...hooray!
