The Final Countdown
This is Andy's brother John. He is a big fan of Europe and particularly the song "The final countdown" We bought a CD with it on to play at the reception and after his speech put it on. John sang and I accompanied him on air guitar...I was sober..honest.
This is my 250th picture...I've just realised and the only one of this collage I took is the top left!

What a fun moment to capture!
Bill Phillips: We are going to John's 30th birthday party soon so I may have to do a repeat performance!
Congratulations for your 250th Bill. You organised a great party for it (lol)!
What a pleasure to look at these beautiful and joyful pictures.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard...as you can see I enjoyed myself!
How much had you had to drink Bill ;-) richard
Bill Phillips: A couple of glasses of the fizzy stuff...honest
Bill, this is a stunning collage, it shows the relaxed fun you all had, this to me is priceless.
Moments like this, than it is good to have a camera with you and capture these fun/special moments. Congratulations on your 250th post....
Bill Phillips: Thanks Astrid. We have loads of pictures and they will always be a reminder of a wonderful day
A fab shot to celebrate 250th Bill. John seemed to enjoy your guitar playing anyway
Bill Phillips: It's just as well I didn't get my real guitar out...I am a lousy guitar player!
Why do i never have fun?
Bill Phillips: If that's true Chad then it is the saddest thing I've heard for ages
lol air guitar indeed
Bill Phillips: Cheers Tim...I'm even old enough to remember The Shadows walk!!
Congrats on the 250 Bill!!!!
Air Guitar - now there is a subject. Whose technique were you emulating - surely not the guitarist out of Europe? ;o)
Bill Phillips: I go back to the days of Hank Marvin! Mark Knopfler was always my favourite, my own playing style of a real guitar is best described as pathetic
well done on the 250,you look like you are having a good time.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mick...we had a great time!
Well done on reaching 250 Bill - looks like quite a party. Hope you didn't break any strings.
Bill Phillips: No strings broken but getting back up was harder than I would have liked!!
My God - what a fabulous pretend musician you are Bill! I wish you had been roaring drunk really...
Bill Phillips: Years of practice!!
Lol at Chad - don't believe a word of it. I have seen him having fun with my own eyes! Nice collage - even if you don't look very sober!
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: The word Chad and pinch of salt come to mind. I was sober...honestly
Scary monsters playing air guitar, whatever next
Bill Phillips: ME? A scary monster? LOL
So much to celebrate - it looks as though you all had a long, great day. Congratulations and best wishes to you all.
See you soon.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ron. Hopefully I'll be going on Monday so might see you then
interesting collage
almost makes me wish i were there
Bill Phillips: You could have taken some pictures
love the way you rock that guitar, Bill
Bill Phillips: You can't keep an old rocker down Terry!
Bet when you started on SC you didn't think your 250th.would be of such a happy family occasion. You men are really getting into the "spirit" of things I guess.
Bill Phillips: You are right. Also didn't realize what a great bunch of people I was going to find on shutterchance either!
