Buses in Tokyo are pretty cool..and quite small (when I have to take one it remembers me my old schoolbus).. You enter through the front door, pay a flat fare when entering (from 210yen using coins, or you can just use Suica), and exit through the rear door.
I think if you want to see the coolest grandpas & grandmas in Tokyo, you have to give a try to the bus
