Another title: Mr. Bluford's Opus.
This is a monument to Polegreen Church, where dissident Presbyterian preacher Samuel Davies preached before the Revolutionary War. Patrick Henry ("Give me liberty, or give me death!") said that he learned all he needed about oratory from Davies' sermons.
The reconstruction, as you can see, is more representative than literal. You also see Bob Bluford, who worked for 20 years to secure the land and money for this monument.
