Yeah Hillary 55% Obama 45%......... 10 point lead in the Pennsylvania Primary for Hillary Clinton......... she claims the tide is turning! Well, maybe, only maybe...... and even then only just maybe....... But she lives to fight on....... In the immortal words of Elvis Costello......." I don't know how much more of this I can take...... She's filing her nails while they're dragging the lake."

Is she blowing on her vote finding divination rod for luck? It also works if you blow at traffic lights when you want them to change from red to green.[reply]Matt @ April 23, 2008, 6:57 am

Wonderful image.
I think she may yet pull a bunny out of the hat. The super delegates have to decide who would win them the Presidency against McCain. It's not a given that that person would be Obama.
And, in a troubling sign for the Obama camp, only 50 percent of Pennsylvania voters who picked Clinton said they would vote for Obama if he was the Democratic nominee, but 26 percent said they would vote for McCain.
Nineteen percent of Clinton's Pennsylvania supporters said they would not vote in the fall if she was not the Democratic nominee.
Obama's inability to cut into Clinton's support among those groups may raise some concerns on whether he could win those groups if he became the Democrats' nominee.
Sadly It just might be a serious problem for him...... and sadly again I think Clintons campaign has really taken the shine off him..... since her campaign has positioned herself somewhat bizarrely as the blue collar old style Democrat and attempted to position him as an elitist of the Al Gore, John Kerry Camp......er....... the funny thing is she is candidate from the elite ruling family taking the crown by a sense of entitlement and birth-right as it were....... he Obama resembles much more closely the old Bill Clinton before he was President....... coming up from nothing through sheer talent will power and charm with a certain X-factor and mission that is hard to define.
She might yet bring down the whole thing..... him with it if she can..... there is just no way she will concede.....
Funnily enough some people said at the beginning she would not be a good candidate because she was so divisive and polarizing....... and she has certainly started by polarizing the once united and content Democratic Party...... Oh well...... I guess she is just hoping for some major Obama stumble..... otherwise on paper she still cannot win..
Thanks for dropping in on the blog and taking time to comment!!
