A shot outside a pachinko, a Japanese game like slot machine, where you can win something from cigarettes to cars.. Players buy metal balls, which are then shot into the machine from a ball tray with the purpose of attempting to win more balls. The pachinko machine has a digital slot machine on a large screen in the center of its layout, and the objective here is to get 3 numbers or symbols in a row for a jackpot.
Never played to pachinko, however it's pretty easy to recognize one: videogame style noises, cigarette smell and a lot of salarymen and weird people glued to those diabolic machines.

    By reading your description, everybody seems to avoid this place and run away from, certainly the effect of looking straight through the legs and your dynamic angle supports this impression.

    We have plenty of gaming machines here in Oz too, in pubs, but same sort of crowd! Love the people whizzing past in the foreground, revealing the rows and rows of machines disappearing into oblivion!
