A Moment in Photographic History: USAnian photographer William Bradford, who was born April 30, 1823, traveled extensively thorugh the north and produced and Art Book of Photographs entitled The Arctic regions. - A Photographic Quote of Note: The pictures a mature photographer takes are interpretations of the subject in terms of the photographer’s own personality and interests. If he has inventiveness, photography can be completely rediscovered in his own way. - - - - - - Alexey Brodovitch

This reminds me of some work by a local sculpture. He has done a resurrection series, women, wrapped in linen cloths, with the cloths peeling off, just like this. They are exquisite. As is this photograph.
