Off the Beaten Path
This gives you a pretty good idea what the hike from Mooney Fall to the Colorado looks like. The guy in the red shirt is Jesse, who somehow convinced himself that going on this trip with me was a good idea.

We crossed the river about a dozen times on the way down to the Colorado and back. Because I knew to expect this from a previous trip, we did the whole 14 mile round trip in sandals. Sandal technology clearly has come a long way judging by the pristine state of our feet at the end of the day.
