The details you have captured are just amazing (this is a small flower, right?). Great colors, perfect composition, and very effective use of DoF. I wish I could see more of the stem - the way it curves looks really interesting.....

@Chris: Thank you, Chris. I just went out and measured this flower: 1 3/4 inch from top to bottom. There isn't more of the stem because of the clutter of other stems and flowers. But, it is a good idea to try taking one that includes more stem. I will try.
Great isolation of the subject. Again, an image to brighten peoples day!

I think of the columbine flower as hanging down, this wonderful shot gives me a sense of exuberant reaching for the heavens. Wonderful to contemplate the graceful curves.
