The focus is off. Maybe too much white space. Not the best angle for a portrait. I dont' know why I like this shot. Maybe it's the personal relationship I have with the subject that keeps me subjective, but I don't care. Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut and break all the rules when you call a photo "good". Everything is relative.
