too much going on right now, so i haven't been able to catch up on everyone's blogs--and it's looking like it's only going to get worse. this is actually exciting for other aspects of my life but something has to give... i'll still be posting photos as i can, but since photoblogging is supposed to be my stress relief, not a source of stress (e.g. feeling bad when i'm unable to respond to comments or follow your work--not only because i so appreciate your having doing that for my work but also because i enjoy seeing and being inspired by yours), this will unfortunately have to be one of the things that 'gives.' again, danthro is not disappearing, just appearing less.
Comments, feedback, criticism, suggestions, etc. are always appreciated. Thanks! Image too large? Click the 'small' link in the bottom right corner for a smaller view.

Incredible light ... but I have to say that the plant itself looks like it just survived a tornado ... it's all chewed to shreds!

@Ron: thanks. i think i sharpened it too much, just replaced it with a less sharpened version. although, it was also a very windy day when i took this.
Nice scene. i like the colors you got here. they almost seem muted but in a good way. well done.

Such pretty clover. They plant this variety along our highways and when it's thick it looks like a carpet of blooms. Lovely capture.

This is a beautiful, resilient flower. To think it survived a tornado! ;-)

Beautiful light...great detail. My only suggestion would be to lose that distracting shredded leaf thingy to the right. I think it distracts from the beauty of the flower, but that may just be me. Maybe a tighter crop or just clone it out would do the trick. Other than that, beautiful find. :)

Very good!
