The odd thing is, the ways to evacuate are straight up a mountain, straight ahead into the water, or travel miles along a sea-level road. You will need lots of warning. - A Moment in Photographic History: On June 29, 1844 the first installment of William Henry Fox Talbot's photographically illustrated book “The Pencil of Nature” was published in England. - A Photographic Quote of Note: Many pictures turn out to be limp translations of the known world instead of vital objects which create an intrinsic world of their own. There is a vast difference between taking a picture and making a photograph. - - - - - - - Robert Heinecken

Well, would you lookie here? Another frightening shot. Yer'r just full of danger, aren't ya? Getting your arse stuck in some kind of a tidal flat the day before and now getting ready to surf the waves all the way inland. Someone ought to give you a good talking to, that's what. Putting yerself in danger just to flood the world with great photos. Remember Isadora Duncan, loosing it all for a grand gesture.

The mountain almost looks like a tsunami. I've seen these signs in Tofino. Excellent shot!

Maybe the evacuation route was decided by a committee, just like a camel is a horse designed by committee....

Beautiful setting. The sign is a little disturbing. How quickly might they expect people to evacuate in an emergency event???

Get out while you can. Love the sign and how the shapes seem to be repeated in the mountain and clouds.
