My impression is about contrasts. In opening the image, I saw the top half first (and considered it the "first image") ... the man with the wheels behind him ... straight lines, starkness. To see the lower half of the image, I scrolled down and saw another image entirely ... everything round ... round basket, round grapes, rounded space. This lower shot offers a lushness and an abundance that is absent in the "first image". What an interesting concept of Afghanistan you offer to my eye. Lushness within reach, but unavailable to its own people. Powerful image.
