She has been through pain, but she always has on a brave face
Rejection knows her name....her womanhood must know no shame..
(Please let me all know what you see when you look at this picture, thankyou all for your time..)
So I figure this a blog and I can play with it once in a while. I woke up this morning and had a good laugh after reading Stan and Suby's comments. I had struggled with what to call this picture before putting it up and I still have no clue......lol...it will come to me I hope.

I see the face paint and the intense stare but can't really figure out the intended message. The pose also doesn't suggest hardship overcome, etc...
Ada: Thanks for stopping by Stan, always a pleasure. The truth is I had no clue what to call this. No clue at all..lol...My title threw you off, gave me a jolt too when I read your comment.
Want to like this image but sort agree with Stan, You know, think it's cause of the "She Truth" comments, it sorta clashes with the image we looking at.
Shows the importance of getting the words right
Ada: Thanks S&S totally see what you are saying. Will get the words right next time..(that's a threat by the way)
Eeek...this is really interesting. She does have a strong look.

“…..black and White images can be strong, high contrast and powerful - or they can be so soft, gentle and subtle.” – Belle
Going by the above quote, I beg to differ with some of my fellow bloggers who have posted comments regarding this image. Apart from her hair and a couple of bangles which has a bit of contrast, texture and depth, ur conversion method or PP has rendered most of the image flat and washed out. I can only assume (and pls correct me if am wrong), that you’ve edited it as a beauty image rather than one to portray a sense of drama. And in so doing you have lost a lot of the intensity from her pose and depth, texture in her make up and facial features. Have a look at some of the B&W images posted by some of our fellow bloggers (I would rather not mention any names), and u immediately get a sense of drama, texture and depth, be it ‘subtle’ or ‘powerful’. We all strive to develop our own individual styles, and the images we post are based on individual artistic interpretations. But in order for us to develop our individual styles or go against the grain, we most get the basics right.
Ada: Thank you for stopping by. I see what you are saying...good looking out fotografa,,,,thanks.
BEAUTIFUL PORTRAIT... LOVE THE EXPRESSION AND EYE..
Ada: Thankyou so much Cushmok..was looking at your blog. Really lovely, you do amazing work. The one baby pouring water on his/her body; priceless..
still don't know what to call this
lol actually u might not be far from the truth o... ehhh in the days of nixoderm...girls be goin to bed looking like this...what you shlda said was 'like I don't wake up lookin like this' then I would have yelped 'OUCH (ok, yeeeeh) darn she got me...' heheh
Yes o, will send you more details ma, hope you are able to make it...I am going to rent a lens for this thing...18-200.
Ada: lol..good one..."I JUST WOKE UP...NOW WHAT?"
Looks like the morning after the night before!
Ada: lol.....well that's one good looking lady, if she just rolled out of bed..lol..
thanks Bill.
you see an intense stare and you can't figure out the message and that's supposed to be a negative?
i don't think ambiguity should always be a negative an intense stare is enough to make a picture in fact if you want you can call it intense stare lol ok what do i see... in the eyes, i see a village princess trying to defend her village from invaders...kinda like pocahontas (or however it's spelled) but the hands tell me she wants to do it rather by seducing them than by actual physical confrontation but then she may just be reaching for her curare-poisoned hair pin
Ada: lol..oh My God Draw....lmao...This interpretation is priceless..infact you are correct..i swear..true story.
Hope u don't mind if I say it like it is.
The pic looks like an 'Ogbanje' that has reluctantly attained puberty, and is in conflict with herself, tormented by voices from the alluring spirit world to which she cannot now return. NB: In Nigerian mythology, an 'Ogbanje' is a recurrently reincarnating spirit child, that maliciously torments her parents with repeated births and early deaths, often to the same parents.
Ada: lol....Fakeye..wetin now? haba>>>>>lol
This is a very nice and dramatic picture. It has so many mixed readings: someone about to fight, someone anticipating danger, someone who just lost someone or something and is in recovering from the pain, someone who is determined and mustering courage to do something, etc. It is a really nice picture.
Ada: Thank you Kess for obeying my command and coming on here from facebook...lol..Thak you so mch for the compliment...I COMMAND YOU TO COME AGAIN!!!!
If i say I know how to describe dis pic, Ill be lying. The good thing about that is Ill keep coming to ur blog to look at it trying to figure out wat it is u are trying to express. Nevertheless, its a trademark of ur creativity. Keep at it....
Ada: Thanks Luv....your appreciation means alot..
Looks like a scene from a Nigerian home video...those attempts@ epic film making. Tk a closer look @ fotografa's comment tho
Ada: Thanks Buddy...
moi loves this image!
it is strong! i think it reflects STRENGHT more than pain! this looks to me like a strong courageous, able to achieve kinda woman! a good title in my opinion would be ITS ALL IN ME!
Ada: That's an awesome title Oyebola.....Finally, someone helps me out. I am using it!!!!
