I like the soft, subdued colors of the distant monoliths. The closer, more vibrant outcropping makes a good foreground object. A fine landscape!

It's nice to see the daylight turning to dusk, which is a great time to take photos. This one is super, and I can imagine where shadows exist it becomes rapidly cooler...?

@Observing: Yes, it does. However, the early morning temperature difference is more noticeable. After the sun was up and it was getting hot, we passed into the shadow of a large rock monolith. The temperature in the shade was dramatically cooler.

the light is indeed superb! late evening sunset tones really underline the natural bronze colour of the rock formations and your compostion work very well here too!
