Very rustic - and a nice play of light against everything. I am left wondering how much you have really twiddled this?
Probably a bit - but skillfully
Bill Phillips: I flipped the image horizontally so that the fence runs left to right. I have a bit of a thing about that. A slight crop where the bright was blinding, a little sharpening and that's about it. Why are you being nice? It makes me nervous
Excelent photo great colour and light.have a good weekend yourself.
Bill Phillips: Thaks vintage. It was a rare sunny day!
Just right for a stroll and to contemplate what's over the fence. Lovely!
Bill Phillips: I think it led to the toilets
Great shot, Bill...and appears like you assisted the image a little with contrast and/or colour saturation.
Bill Phillips: I flipped the image horizontally so that the fence runs left to right. I have a bit of a thing about that. A slight crop where the bright was blinding, a little sharpening and that's about it. Oh I did duplicate the layer and then multiply when I merged them as I recall. Didn't tell Chris that.
LOL, do we have to hop over this barrier to get into the weekend? I am good at hopping over barriers
Bill Phillips: Only to get to the toilet Martin
Extremely picturesque. This fence deserves a series of studies.
Bill Phillips: I will bear that in mind Viktor next time I go. It is a very attractive fence
Me too. The fence is lovely.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Jessie...and hello.
An unusual one - I don't think I've seen one quite like this before. It looks like they've made use of some local fallen trees. Nice warm colours.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: I would imagine they have used timber off the estate Ingrid. I think it is a delightful fence
Yes, funny how such a simple piece of rustic construction can be so pleasing.
Bill Phillips: My wife has being saying that to me for years Ian.
Bit of africa? I like the fence to and you made a great composition. Happy weekend.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis..yes I can see what you mean,
Yes, I too! And I like the earth colours and the glittering green! It must here be a aromatic-fresh- healthy air to breathe in!
Bill Phillips: It was indeed Philine.
It's like a "folk art" fence, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Well dang my britches Ginnie. That sounds good.
And I like the light and the way the trees filter it and funnel it down to everything else.
Bill Phillips: The light was lovely Kathryn and I was impressed that the camera handled the contrast as well as it did.
I see that the borders are back, Bill. Fine composition anyway.
Bill Phillips: Only a modest little border Chad. I like to slip one in now and then....
Most unusual fence Bill, I don't think I've ever seen one like it before.
Bill Phillips: Nor I Brian, and I used to sell timber!
Much nice that those horrible metal ones Bill.
Bill Phillips: I couldn't agree more Bernie
I like the fence too and the strong light through the trees. No rain that day!
Bill Phillips: One of the few dry days this summer Mary.
great fence shot Bill
Since I was a young architectural student and one of our design projects was a "wall/fence" I have been fascinated by fences and walls that are unique, creative, fun this one definitely fits all three
Bill Phillips: Thanks Alan. It is a delightful fence and fitted in with the environment beautifully.
Love the look of this place Bill, very nice indeed.
The lighting really lifts the lushness.
Bill Phillips: Charlecote is well worth a visit Tracy
Looks to be recycling at it's best! Have a good weekend, too!
Bill Phillips: Doesn't it just!
I think I would just like the fence as well. Very nice.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila. Enjoy the grandchildren

Takes me back...reminds me of my hometown in imo state Nigeria. There are fences like that in our own version of the country side.
Bill Phillips: It is a very attractive fence and it does have an African feel to it.
