I noticed this young lady waiting for some lucky man outside a bistro. Let’s see now, she’s attractive, has long legs, short shorts, so of course I’m gonna notice. Anyway, as I raised my camera to take a photo she lifted her leg to adjust her shoe strap. It was not the shot I wanted but I like it better than the others. The image portrays how sometimes we need to make a few adjustments in life; it can become uncomfortable and requires a few adjustments.

Nice street catch, Monte. I like the black & white processing, too.

Sometimes we make life more uncomfortable than it needs to be by choosing to impress rather than to be practical (those shoes are designed for discomfort).
