My name is Claus. I live in a small suburb south of Copenhagen. My interest in photography started in 2004. I bought my first digital camera a Nikon - coolpix 2200. I soon found out that it did not satisfy my needs and I upgraded to a Casio EX500, but this still was not enough. In early 2005 I decided to buy a DSLR and went for the Nikon D70, a little gem of its time, and I still think it can compete with newer DSLRs you just need to use it correctly. I went to Crete in Greece on a vacation in 2005 with a couple of friends, and came home with 700 shots in the box, since then I almost always have the camera in the bag. The latest addition to my camera bag is the Nikon D2H, a truly amazing piece of equipment. My main focus is friends and family, portraits and close up photography. I do shoot some landscapes and macro images at times, but it is not my strong side. I do not sell my photographs yet, but I am working on making it possible.
