Location: San Francisco, CA - Chinatown

I still haven't had any time lately to get out and shoot, or even to dig through old images to find something to post, but here's one I shot while riding the bus through Chinatown yesterday.

I usually try to carry a camera with me wherever I go so I can snap a few even if I'm not out specifically to shoot.

listen to the new burst piece and i promise you; that's one bell you can't unring. using a metaphor not applicable, lazarus bird has been on heavy rotation in my ipod since a friend brought it to my attention. it evokes the same gut-feeling as floater's sink did in 1994, and disillusion's back to times of splendor did the other year. dunno if it's the time of year or time in life that draws me to this kind of music...

anyways. i'm aiming at sending my thesis to the printers by the end of the month. i guess that most of you who have completed a phd can testify to the 24-7 work required when in the final phases. i've decided to try to dodge that by going on a one week vacation with the family to crete starting on sunday. i expect to hit the floor running when i get back in order to finalize what must be finalized in the few days remaining before printing the thesis... the defence will most probably be in december.

Oh, and I’ve finally managed to get the advanced calendar releases back on schedule. November is down there now. Unless you’re reading this any time after November 08, in which case it’s gone. Maybe just pretend you were in on the awesomeness and move along. Thanks.
