Insomnia
The world of sleep has an existence of its own.

[a passion flower on vine]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
A little more information on the passion fruit vine. The fresh or dried leaves are widely used in herbalism and are well known as being used as an infusion, a tea that is used to treat insomnia (amongst many other things).
I've come across many sites regarding the history of this plant. They all seem to be varying accounts that are similar in nature. This is a brief history from Wikipedia. "Passion" does not refer to love, but to the Passion of Christ on the cross. In the 15th and 16th centuries, Spanish Christian missionaries discovered this flower and adopted its unique physical structures as symbols of Crucifixion.
Have a great weekend!
Still MIA. Brent is doing a little better and the doctors are monitoring his progress. We now have seven calves and Christmas is still creeping up (too quickly for my liking)! Thank You to everyone who has stopped by recently.
