A night at the Pantomime 2 of 3 An early arrival and the theatre is almost empty. It gives me time to take photos (not really allowed) and have a good look at all the things that go with a well run show, like control rooms and lighting. This shows part of the lighting rigs at the side of the stage. Photo quality is bad, the photo was taken in poor lit part of the auditorium, next to the stage, without a flash (I didn't want to draw attention to myself!)

I am not a pastel kind of girl, nor am I really into pink but this evening as I looked out over the Bay from Alcatraz I couldn't help but think how beautiful the shades of pink and purple were. A park ranger came up to me and apologized for the poor light and I had to tell him it was quite the contrary.
