My name is Enrique Vidal, natural from Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The proximity and passion for the sea and natural environment have driven me to become an Oceanographer. This occupation has given me the opportunity to travel to some incredible places such as Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. I also seize every opportunity I can to travel to places where work can't take me (recently Hong Kong and Morocco). This incredible combination has fueled my passion for photography which started a few years back after a short course by Sebastià Torrens, a well known nature photographer in Mallorca. I am currently researching for my PhD doctorate at the Mediterranean Institute of Advanced Studies (IMEDEA) in Mallorca, Spain. |
