Just a quick note to everyone that has stuck around to this photoblog, that there are changes in the wind. Yes, I realize I've said it before, but this time I've actually taken action. Yesterday I launched a preview of my new site, Houser Photography. This new site is meant to be a more concentrated effort to get my work shown in more than a hobbyist's way. I will be spending the cold winter months preparing work for public display and trying to set up connections with agencies and stock houses in an effort to hopefully get paid for what I love to do (wouldn't that be something?).
As a result, this content seems more fitting to be included with that site. I've included a blog section in that design and will be migrating all this archived content over to that site. The move will allow me to better manage bandwidth issues which have plagued this site for a while now, as well as address some other technical details I've been meaning to put in place for a while now.
So I encourage you to have a look and familiarize yourself with the new site. In hopefully a week or two I'll be ready to close the curtains on this site and open them on the new one. You will notice that I've included Google Ads on the new blog. I've already received some feedback on it and I'll just say that it's a test program. Eventually, there will be sidebar content which will push that content down the page a bit more and make it less obtrusive. I'm not obligated or married to them - it's just papa's gotta pay the bills, right? Any other feedback, though... let the ideas flow. I'll be happy to hear them.
