Lots of caterpillar's around at the moment - we normally have lots of butterflies at the end of spring and through out summer, so this little fella is just waiting.

A view of Tokyo from the Metropolitan Towers in the Shinjuku District of Tokyo. Someone explained to us that the reason there are no skyscrapers in most of Tokyo is becasue of the frequent earthquakes. The only place where you can find towering buildings (such as the one this photo was taken from) is in Shinjuku which rests on a small area not prone to land movement.

They're here! What they want, I've no idea...

Compared to the more colourful Agyness shot that I posted on Facebook (link) I suspect most of you will find this a bit drab but personally I love the extra luminosity detail and contrast you can get when you desaturate an image, plus it makes it easier to use colour to convey a mood.

Anyway, I like this photo a lot. I'll probably never get the chance to photograph Agyness Deyn again but I'm happy with this one so I can rest easy.

Yes, he is back!  Another shot from my favorite subject.  Well, he does share the number one spot with my wife.  The only reason you're not seeing more of her on this blog is because's she can actually run away from the camera, unlike Noah.  Mwahahaha :)

Anyway, August 3rd was a pretty big day for the little fella since he got to eat his first batch of actual baby food.  Bye bye milk-only days and hello mashed fruit and mashed vedgetables!  Prepared, with the utter most care, by his own personal culinary chef: mommy.  I can tell you this much: mommy makes some great baby food!  I actually tasted it, the menu is absolutely killer!

So to shot above, taken about halfway through the 'stick-the-spoon-in-the-baby's-mouth-and-hope-not-too-much-comes-back-out-again' process, gives a pretty good impression of how clean Noah eats.  Except for the odd little bit of food dangling from his lip, he and his bib are almost splarkly clean and well, mommy and daddy love that!
