Have you ever looked at a photograph and felt like you were witness to a secret occurring between photographer and subject? Or that you were seeing something that you were not originally intended to see? Kuba Kobylecki, of Poland, sets up the scene in just this way. He has a gift for bringing private moments to the forefront so that we, as his audience can be a part of it as well. Perhaps it is the intimacy of the photographs, or maybe it is the way the shots seem to catch the subjects in a perfect glancing moment that sheds the shroud of secrecy. Whatever it is, I enjoy being in on Kuba's mysterious moments.
