Miles Storey is not only a photographer that I admire (he creates photography for his own enjoyment), but he produces photography that has inspired me since I've been watching his blog Mute. I cannot look at the carnival swings, the face of an elderly man, or a bench in quite the same way that I did before seeing Miles' photographs. He rarely takes credit for his insight, attributing much of his own photographic endeavors to others' styles (especially in the case of the swings), but Miles puts a spin on his photographs that makes them unforgettable.
Miles' style is unique and introspective. He may be inspired by others, but he has developed a style all his own that, in turn, inspires more photographers.
