From early in the genesis of photoblogs, Jessyel made his mark on the online photography community, and has since evolved into the offline photography world as well. What makes Jessyel iconic? First, it's his keen sense of composition. His photographs just feel right. Everything flows and works together seamlessly. Second, the lighting and focus are perfect. Whether it's a grainy black and white shot, or close-up portrait, the subject is always highlighted and focused well.
Jessyel shoots many types of photography, from nature to street to portraiture. If there was photography I'd want to learn from, Jessyel's street photography would be one of the first I'd turn to. It tells a story in a way that only good photography can. That's something to emulate.
