At VFXY Photos we are dedicated to recognizing the quality photoblogs throughout the community! This

A quality of photography that I really love is being able to interpret the photographer's message, and at the same time, understanding a little bit more about the photographer in doing so. Jose Shackleton opens her photography up to interpretation while sharing interesting tidbits about herself and the subjects she photographs. Why the blur instead of focus? Why leave the people in instead of waiting for them to pass by? What does it add to the image and what does it add to the story? Jose explains, in her images, the importance of trying new concepts, of introducing different elements to give more balance or cohesion to an image.
What she tells us in her photography is that timing is imperative. Composition is key. Knowing how to balance both makes photography worthwhile.
