Having recently read Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, it should come as no surprise that American Grey's photography brought to mind "London Above." This is the quintessential London Above, from fountains to beautiful architecture, to life, people, animals, and plants, that inhabit all of London above. Through his photography, I feel like I'm back in the City, wandering through St. James' Park, having a sit in a garden, or window shopping along a narrow road.
American Grey makes London beautiful and enchanting. He brings out the Great Britain we read about in books and see in movies: that lovely place full of history and promise all wrapped up into one tidy package.
