Sam Javanrouh, an Iranian by birth, now living in Toronto, Canada, is a much celebrated, publicized photoblogger, and with good reason. His ability to turn those scenes that we all see on the streets into something special is worth discussing. Sam is consistently a top five photoblogger on most photoblogging rating sites because he is able to find beauty in everything he photographs. Not only is beauty present, but there is a sense of intrigue and mystery within his photographs that makes viewers take a second, and even third, look at a photograph.
Sam has been the inspiration to many photobloggers, including the VFXY founders. His images are crisp, focused, and project a true photojournalistic outlook on the world. The colors are strong and the contrasts are deep. Sam's ability to produce these qualities gives other budding photographers inspiration to produce similar works. Sam builds stories with his images and, in doing so, takes us along a breathtaking, thought-provoking journey.
